These kinds of paints are made with more pigment to them than your Craft Paints. You will get more color to your $ compared to the craft paints, but don't get me wrong using craft paints is great when your starting out. But Student Grade Paints are the next step up from the craft paints and are meant for beginning artist to paint with. This is the next great level up.
